Graduate Students:
Self-motivated graduate students (Ph.D course) for Research Assistant are always welcome. Especially, we are looking for a student who has background in Electrical Engineering, Bioengineering, Materials Science, or life sciences. Experience in cleanroom, optics, material sythesis(growth) or micro-fabrication/MEMS would be a plus.  Send your detailed resume including your recent publications or project details, skills and your interests to

We have great multidisciplinary team involving researchers from engineering, department of pathology, molecular biology, biochemistry as well as clinical doctors. Also, we are interested in basic research for nanophotonics to understand the physics of light-matter interactions in nanomaterials/ structures for various optoelectronic applications.

If you are a permanent resident or US citizen, you can apply fellowships from many oraganizations for your graduate research. Also, a number of study-abroad and exchange student opportunities are available. 

Undergraduate Students:
Highly motivated undergraduate students are also welcome to join our research.  You can have great research expereince working with other graduate students. You will be trained in several different research activities in Nanomaterial synthesis, device fabrication and characterization.
