The option provides a solid background in the areas of conventional communications, modern computer networks and protocols, wireless network design and management, wireless networks, wireless web protocols, internet programming, databases, distributed transaction processing, and security. The Wireless Communication option is concerned with the design and implementation of projects related to wireless systems.
